Nes Gard

The guesthouse is situated on a farm, which has been run by the same family for 200 years. The main building  has  just been renovated, so as to  offer our guests a comfortable stay with all modern convenience.
12 bedrooms, each individually decorated, and cosy living-rooms. Most of our rooms have a view of the fjord and the mountains. After your excursion you may relax in our  garden.
Bathing in the fjord. Rowboat at your disposal and a boat with motor for hire. Bicycles for hire.
On the farm we grow apples, pears, plums and sweet cherries.

Navarsete

Your are welcome to visit our  mountain farm Navarsete, where the farmers used to stay with the cattle during the summer.
From Nes you start with a short drive along a winding road up to 500 m above sea level. 30-40 min. walk from the car park through a beautiful green valley. This trip is a must for our guests!
You can also hike back to Nes Gard. It takes 2-3 hours  along a historic track, and we can help you to pick up your car in the afternoon.
